Construction of a New Angio Cath Lab & Suite

DRH Construction provided comprehensive project management and construction services for a new Angio Cath Suite which was specifically designed specifically for the Toshiba Bi-Plane; a high-end angiographic imaging system that provides two-plane imaging capabilities, greatly enhancing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Therefore, the construction and layout of the room were designed to accommodate this equipment and ensure it functioned optimally. Design considerations included factors such as radiation shielding, patient comfort, and efficient workflow for healthcare providers.

CT Scan Exam Suite

We showcased our expertise in medical facility construction by successfully completing the build-out for the Norris USC Breast Cancer Center and Cat Scan Suite.

The construction team was tasked with developing an environment conducive to innovative breast cancer care, including treatment rooms, consultation spaces, and a specialized CAT Scan Suite.

The project encompassed comprehensive planning, coordination, and precise execution to meet equipment and safety requirements.

Multiple Construction Projects

DRH Construction completed several significant projects at the Little Company of Mary Hospital in California. These and other enhancements reinforced the hospitals continual commitment to offering the most advanced medical care infrastructure.

Projects included:

Management and construction overnight for a critical NICU wing resulting in significant upgrades designed to enhance neonatal care facilities.

Construction and Remodeling the imaging department, incorporating state-of-the-art medical equipment such as Toshiba CT scanners, Siemens MRI machines, and Philips Fluoroscopy units.

Remodeling Operating Rooms and the Cytology Department including the integration of the Siemens Uroskop Omnia system.

HRS AUDIO BOOTH CONSTRUCTION

HRS AUDIO RECORDING SUITE FOR USC UNIVERSITY

The project involved the demolition of existing space to accommodate building an HRS (High-Resolution-Sound) professional quality audio booth suite. An HRS audio booth is a specialized space designed to provide optimal sound recording and reproduction capabilities for various performance-related activities, such as recording music, voice-overs, podcasts, and sound effects.

The Audio Suite included the construction of two 10 x 10 booths and equipment storage space. The project required careful attention to design specifications to meet appropriate acoustical design specifications, soundproofing, proper equipment placement, electrical and lighting, HVAC, and security aspects of the project.

Here are a few of the many projects we have completed for USC University Hospital.

MRI

We removed an old MRI unit using a plasma cutter. We also built two new MRI Suites

Gamma Knife

An existing unit contained radioactive isotopes which needed to be replaced. We constructed a temporary concrete bunker in the parking lot where we safely removed and replaced these isotopes.

CyberKnife Suite

We constructed a new Cyberknife treatment room and associated control center.
